Degree Completion Program

One Night a Week to Complete Your Bachelor’s Degree

The DSU Department of Communication Studies is accepting applications for enrollment into the Fall 2018 Organization and Leadership program. Designed for adults returning to finish their degrees, the program is designed for students with day-time demands and yet offers the necessary face-to-face educational format with skilled scholars in the field of Communication. Attending courses on Tuesday evenings only, students complete one course per month.

The program allows students to complete a bachelor’s degree in five continual semesters. Known as the Degree Completion Program (DCP), these students take classes in practical skills such as Negotiations and Bargaining, Persuasion, Leadership and High Performance Teams, and Critical Thinking. With a focus on skills that apply to workplace leadership and creativity, the program is designed especially for students who already have career and life experience. Allowing working professionals and daytime stay-at-home parents to enjoy classes in a cohort setup, students work only with the university’s full-time faculty with diverse training and doctoral credentials.

All interested students are encouraged to apply for admittance into the Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a unique emphasis in Organization and Leadership program.
